The wind is blowing the air temperature is about 60 degrees. Just after taking this picture we peeled out of our sweatshirts and worked the remaining time in our long sleeve shirts - mainly so the barbed wire didn't get us. It's been a while since dad has had his tetanus shot so we had to be extra careful. We decided we rolled about 1600 feet of rusting old barbed wire from side to side of the property. Lot of work cutting it out of trees and off rusty stakes but we had a good time doing it. Plan your work vacations...we have plenty to keep you busy.
After several hours work on a job we decided was really a job for many more people than just the two of us, we were ready to go clean up. We actually had a great time working on the lot clearing the barbed wire. We are sitting at the back of the lot amid the Pine needles with a tiny trickle of water just off to our right.
As we pulled out of the subdivision I had to take a quick picture of the gorgeous green pasture with the cows and horses off in the distance. All the rain has made for lovely green landscape nearly everywhere the eye can see. The wind was blowing enough to make the grass wave across the field today. A pretty sight to behold.
