Surprise Kennedi and Marley are getting another sibling
Krista surprised us with the news that she and Cory are expecting again by putting a baby counter on our blog...only I didn't see it first, Annie, our niece did! After a flurry of phone calls to clear up the situation we found out there WAS someone pregnant in our family after all! Horray!! We are all thrilled and hope the pregnancy goes well. Our bundle of JOY is due in April.

Today we celebrate our 30th Anniversary
Think we've changed some in our appearance since we married??? Well, I wouldn't change a thing. We are tickled to have the chance to celebrate our 30 years together enjoying a full life with incredible kids who have brought endless joy into our lives. We thank you for your support and friendship in our journey. Our hearts are full!
One bit of advise from someone who knows...take pictures of you as a couple along the way. We have far too few of Joe and I since our union. You do better than we did.

Pretty scenery
These two pictures were taken on our return drive home in beautiful Colorado. This is up near Vail.
This photo was taken as we were driving into Jenna and Cory's neighborhood, the sky was aflame with brilliant color! Just couldn't miss the chance to record it... I love this picture. Simply adds to the appeal of their new hometown among the many wonderful attributes we have been able to encounter.
OK, so the scenery wasn't exactly what I was after in this photo but this little critter came eye to eye with Ellie during our Millcreek gathering. You'll have to ask her about it, it was funny. Don't think we're supposed to make that much noise while visiting in the tranquil canyon atmosphere. ha ha
This is the view from the parking lot looking down on the lake where we've been swimming lately near where we live. It's gorgeous.
Then I turned around a took a picture of the other side of the parking lot where the pavilion is. Plenty of shade all around the swimming, picnic and play area. You have to come see for yourself!
These are of Millcreek Canyon that I took during our family outing recently. We LOVE Millcreek, isn't just beautiful?

Our fun trip to Utah to be with the kids....
Watching the girls take their first ride. Kennedi did a great job in a very short time driving the truck in out and around any obstructions. Made for a fun time.
The girls loved the 'truck' even though it wasn't pink...ha ha ha!!! Marley was just happy to ride and turn on the radio as Kennedi drove her all over the place.
Fun welcoming message chalked onto the driveway for our arrival...cute
We met up with Jen and Cory and head on our way to UT stopping for a short break in Colorado
Jen with her sweet spoiled, Munch, who didn't like her momma and daddy to be gone all week! Someone has an attitude and is very headstrong. She was sooo happy when they got home.
Enjoying a rare gathering after a wonderful surprise (and I mean surprise!) anniversary dinner with the kids at a lovely Italian restuarant with great food, lovely atmosphere, terrific service and the best company ever!! Thanks Cory for planning - and everyone for uniting for the event, it meant the world to us!! Such a wonderful treat

Pretty girls in their new outfits
Random pics from our days playing outside
YES...we get to go to ride the carousel, one of our favorite passtimes since Kennedi was little and now Marley loves it too.
Nothing feels better than cooling off in water on a hot summer day...

Our day at Millcreek eating, playing in the freezing water, playing games (some people are so competitive!hee hee) taking walks, laughing and getting perfectly dirty.
Pretty girls together again....love it!
Marley affectionately calls auntie Ell, 'T Ell' she loves her t' Ell!
Welcoming the new day out on the deck every morning, so cool and pleasant and extra cozy with one of our favorite girls to snuggle with.
Husking corn on the cob with Mamaw on the deck in the wind! So much wind during our visit. the girls loved husking the corn. Marley kept saying, 'pull' so we kept on 'pulling' the husks off.
Watching the girls at the splash park near their home

Playing games at Millcreek...

In the end we stayed up way too late most nights, ate far too much, laughed at everything, tried to cram in all the activities we could and loved every minute of it!! Miss you all wish I could say good-bye with a little more grace but then that wouldn't be me now would it???!
