Yep...that's muddy water being pumped out AGAIN from yet another hard rain. Love the rain just dread the work that follows until we have the cement poured. It takes a very long time but how can I complain when the atmosphere of the surrounding woods are so completley serene. I love to hear the squirrels running through the leaves, birds singing and frogs chirping. Plus the sound of the water running out the back sounds like a babbling brook as it cascades over the many many rocks.

Basement floor that took an entire day to pump out little by little. It's so shallow we have to use a small pump for this job. Around the outside we use the BIG pump.

I discovered a nest of tadpole eggs on the surface of one of the larger pools of water. If you enlarge the photo you can see tiny tails emerging already. I like how it's in the shadow of the leafy bush overhead.

These little salamanders (I'm assuming that's what it is) are on the run all over the place. One never visits the lot that you don't see them scurrying for cover. When you enlarge the photo you can see the magnificent detail on him. Incredible.

Wow you guys are having so much fun pumping that water out I think by now you can for sure call yourself professionals. Gosh wel hopefuly one day you will not have to worry about rain cause it will just run right off your roof. Good luck with that. Oh and I am jealous I love lizards and frogs....
Those tadpole eggs are so cool. I don't think I have ever seen them like that. What a big mess you guys have every time it rains. Atleast the pumping days are soon to be over.
I feel so bad about the mud. The tadpole eggs I haven't seen since
3rd grade, I loved seeing them again. I don't dare to touch lizards now but when I was a kid we went lizard hunting every memorial weekend LOL!! Love Ya
