Turtles everywhere

As I stepped out the back basement door I nearly landed on Mr. Turtle. He quickly sought cover in his shell and I popped right back in the door! I quickly realized he was completely harmless and went about my pumping duties after another big rain spell left standing water where the plumbing lines come out of the house. Mr. Turtle went on his way seeking some peace and quiet in the back yard someplace. It's rare to drive someplace and not see these little guys on the road slowly making their way across this time of year.
